An article on the second page describes Custer's expedition and findings in Black Hills, in the expired Sioux reservation, Wyoming Territory. In part:"...The expedition thus far has met with no resistance from the Indians...Gold and silver are found in numerous places...All reports, with Gen. Custer's official dispatches, agree in proclaiming this country a second El Dorado in mineral wealth and an Eden in picturesque loveliness." Usual folds, in excellent condition.
